January 9, 2023: Raybon invited to offer a concert at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in the Fall of 2023. Raybon will will work with UNC Professor, John Wood Sweet, in a musical collaboration on his book, The Sewing Girl’s Tale.

October 11, 2022: Raybon received official word that Sacred Nine Project: Libby Prison will be hosted by The American Civil War Museum on their Civil War and Emancipation Celebration, April 1, 2023.

August 6, 2022: Raybon received the official word that his article, an outgrowth of Sacred Nine Project: Sing Me, Sing Me Not, will be published in Journal of Singing. The title of the article is, “Oh Don’t You Want to Go?": Preparing for the ‘Gospel Feast’ of the African American Concert Spiritual.”

August 25, 2021: Raybon received a Newcomb Institute Faculty Grant to support Sacred Nine Project: Sufferage [sic].

 April 27, 2021: Erin Fulton, representing the Benton Big Sing Oral History Project for the Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History at the University of Kentucky, sat down for an interview about my unique relationship to William Walker’s Southern Harmony, that ignited Regret, Repent, Rejoice.

March 2021: Sacred Nine Project: Regret, Repent, Rejoice released on the Centaur Label

November 8, 2019: Sacred Nine Singers present Regret, Repent, Rejoice at the Louisiana ACDA Fall Vocal Conference.
